History of the Golf Ball, Desk Plaque, Limited Edition

Simply the Perfect Gift for the Golf Enthusiast in Your Family!!!

This is a Highly Detailed, Limited Edition Collectable Historic Golf Ball Display Plaque. It Shows the Golf Ball as it traverses through Five Stages of its History of Development. Each Historic Golf Ball was created from an Artists Rendering taken from various Photographs and Real Samples of the Memorable Golf Balls of the Past.

The Display is Very Nicely done with an Old English, Scottish feel like the days where Golf got its start. On Display are Five of the Major Changes in the Golf Ball History from 1420 to 1900. It starts off with the Wooden Croisse Ball Flanders Circa 1420. Then moves to the Leather and Cow Hair Golf Ball Holland Circa 1600. Next the Feathery Goose Feathers Scotland Circa 1850. Then Machine Gutty Asian Tree Sap Scotland Circa 1885. Finally the Haskell Core Wound U.S.A. Circa 1900. This is the one that led us to the modern ball we use today.

The History of Golf Display Piece is a very high quality made piece. It is cast in solid colored poly Resin with Felt on bottom so there is no chance of scratches on your desk. It measures about 8 inches wide x 3 Inches Deep x 3 inches High.

Item is for Golf Ball Plaque only. The Wood and Iron Plaques are available in other selections.
