From the hit film "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1983) starring: Harrison Ford and Karen Allen, This is a Real Prop RA Headpiece. This headpiece was used in the bar sequence in the film. It can be seen clearly hanging on log after fight and Marion picks it up. The Ra headpiece itself is made out of a metal alloy material and is plated Gold. The jewel on Headpiece is Red in Color and if you watch close in film it is the only time in scene where a Red Hedpiece appears. The RA Headpiece itself measures: 3 inches (7.7 centimeters) in diameter and weighs approximatly 8 ounces (227 Grams).The backside does have some areas wear the Gold was rubbed off, as seen in pictures. This item is in excellent shape but also did have some wear as it was actually used in film. The Ra Headpieces was actually obtained directly from Elstree Props in London who made them for film. The Headpiece also comes complete with a letter of authenticity directly from Elstree Props owner stating that it is indeed authentic.
The Headpiece comes in a very nice Acrylic Case for display. The Case background has artwork from film. There is a clear shelf tho securly place Headpiece on while in case for display. The case measures: 11 inches Wide x 11 inches High x 4 inches deep.
