This is a prop Chinese style sword from the 1998 action-comedy 'Rush Hour,' starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. The sword has a steel blade affixed to a black rubber handle, highlighted with an engraved steel face and red jewels for eyes. The sheath is a faux red 'alligator skin' design with ornate brass colored plastic tips. The sword was a background piece from the Chinese restaurant and not likely seen on screen but is still a wonderfully crafted prop. (measures approx. 37 1/2" long). Oversized item.
